He has more than 20 years of professional experience in higher education, research and academic leadership in the fields of architecture, urbanism and sustainable habitat. Throughout his career, he has held key academic and administrative positions that have contributed to the development of academic programs, research initiatives and institutional capacities in architecture and urban studies.

His professional trajectory includes the direction of undergraduate and graduate programs, the coordination of interdisciplinary research teams and the development of innovative academic and research projects focused on housing, territorial development and sustainable urban transformation. He has played a central role in the creation and consolidation of academic programs and research structures that support scientific development and professional training in architecture and urban planning.

His experience also includes the leadership of research and innovation projects aimed at addressing social and territorial challenges through experimental design, technological development and community-based approaches. These initiatives have contributed to strengthening institutional capacities, generating applied knowledge and promoting sustainable development in diverse territorial contexts.

Currently, he serves as director of graduate programs and leads interdisciplinary research initiatives focused on housing innovation, territorial resilience and sustainable development.

About

 

Architect, researcher and academic leader specialized in housing, urban development and sustainable habitat. His work focuses on developing innovative architectural and territorial solutions to improve living conditions in urban and rural communities, particularly in contexts of social vulnerability and environmental challenges.

With more than 20 years of experience in higher education and applied research, he has led interdisciplinary initiatives that integrate design, technology and community participation to address complex challenges related to housing quality, disaster response, rural education and urban transformation.

His research combines theoretical analysis, experimental design and field implementation, resulting in the development of technological solutions, prototypes and research-based methodologies that support territorial development and sustainable urban planning.

He has directed academic programs and research projects that contribute to strengthening institutional capacities and advancing knowledge in architecture and urban studies. His work has also involved collaboration with international partners and participation in scientific networks focused on sustainability and innovation in the built environment.

Currently, he leads graduate programs and interdisciplinary research initiatives aimed at generating practical solutions for housing, territorial resilience and sustainable development.
